I was watching the anniversary celebration video for the Division 2, and they mentioned an upcoming revamp to seasons being in the works. That gave me a possible idea, and I was wondering if anyone else might agree.
Personally, my only real gripe from seasons is that I tend to rush through the weekly activities super quickly and then have to wait a while before new stuff comes out. I know the leagues and global events are meant to fill in the gap, but I've already done all the global events before and don't really have an interest in doing them again.
What I was thinking was, each season's target (or equivalent weekly thing we're doing) should take a bit longer. I know some people might not have liked being forced to do a whole bunch of missions like the original four seasons, I can understand that could get repetitive and annoying for some, especially if it's a mission you don't personally enjoy or is difficult for you.
I don't have an answer on how this would be implemented, as you wouldn't want to make players feel like they're slogging through stuff, but honestly, I just breeze through three bounties and two control points so fast (like an hour, if that), and really wish it would take a bit longer. Add some more stuff. Again, I don't know how this would be accomplished in a way that wouldn't be too grindy, but I'm curious if anyone else agrees weekly target objectives should take more time so you don't and are left waiting two weeks to progress the manhunt some more.
Ideally, I think it should be that by the time the next weekly target comes along, you're just finished with the last one, so it doesn't feel like a long wait.
